Pawsitive Education offers Weekly and In-House training sessions all for parents and their dogs, All human family members including nannies are welcome to join the training. Training is done on a one on basis.
WeeklyTraining
For those who wish to actively train their dog, this is the program for you. Once a week you will come to the center and you and your dog will be taught a command or two. The rest of the week you will practice these commands with your dog.
The commands you will be taught will be a combination of basic obedience and behavioral commands. You will also be taught the proper technique to use so you can teach your dog.
This program will help you get to know your dog better and help you build a better relationship with him.
In House Training
In-House training is designed for parents who want their dogs to be taught by experienced trainers. Your dog stays with us for three weeks and during that time they work with our trainers to learn basic obedience and behavioral commands. During downtime they join our day care and they learn to socialize with other dogs.
Parents are encouraged to come (with members of their household) to work with their dog so they learn what their dogs are learning. By doing this, parents have an easier time getting their dogs to follow commands at home.
When parents come for training, we teach to them also how to understand their dogs. This will help them communicate better and design a lifestyle that both parent and dog can enjoy.
