Charis and Keegan worked very hard yesterday at the Happy Mommy event held at Bonifacio High Street. They were off to work at 12 noon and started entertaining their guests at the Socialization Circle by 3pm. They had to welcome both dogs and people. They allowed the people, especially kids to pet them. They had to teach the new dogs how to behave in a social environment through example. By the time their ended at 6:30pm they were tired but happy.
I think I overestimate their stamina though because by 5:30 they were showing signs of impatience towards other dogs. There was a young Siberian Husky who joined them but because he was really in the mood to run and play and the two smaller ones were tired they started complaining and demanding that they be left alone. Sad to see that because I want them to get used to bigger dogs. Both of them were rewarded for their hard work with extra portions for dinner. Thanks for all your hard work kids.

AuthorJoy has had 17-20 dogs, four cats, at least a dozen rabbits, three to four chickens and one turkey in her lifetime. She was close to her brother's bear cat and the snake, who she rescued from the attic. While in Canada she decided to get a cat and ended up with two. Since she lived alone she had to find ways and means to develop a harmonious peaceful relationship with her cats by "training" them. Eventually she decided to get formal training and invited dogs to join her family. Archives
